One of the best feelings in the world is to look at a photograph and wonder how it has perfectly captured that moment of your life!
This is probably the simplest way I can put into words what Sukanya did for my engagement and wedding photography.
As someone who is very nervous and uncomfortable when it comes to candid photography, I was apprehensive about my engagement and wedding photographs. But when I finally got to see them I was l awe struck by the sheer brilliance with which the photographs were clicked.
Sukanya never asked me to pose, in fact I don’t even remember seeing her around the stage area much. She was always lurking behind the camera and clicking it when you would least expect it and this is why her photography churns out such authentically raw and stunning shots. I am beyond happy I could have someone like her click me on my special day. As a bride there is enough pressure on you, but Sukanya just puts you at immediate ease and there is one less thing you need to be worried about.
Sukanya is most voted likely to dance, laugh and yawn right along with you. (Who does that?)
If you are looking for someone to not just click photographs that makes you want to frame most of them, but also to create lifelong memories with then Sukanya is most definitely the way to go.

Sukanya made me feel the most comfortable I have ever been in a photoshoot. I don't even remember the "shoot" as much as I remember the conversation. She really listened, and through that I was able to open up and be my realest self. She is charismatic, but what sets her apart is her keen ability to notice who's standing alone and gently bring them to lean in, making the entire process so effortless.
Her emotional intelligence and presence quotient is off the charts: she read my subtle body language and knew exactly what I needed to hear to feel secure. But it wasn't just the vibe, she stayed completely grounded in her craft.

That depth of connection does something profound to your system - after the session, I experienced the kind of deep, restorative sleep that only comes when you finally feel safe enough to let go. It was as if the session acted as a total nervous system reset.
She truly is a gem I can't wait to meet again. And WHAT incredibly composed headshots (heartshots really).
You can't fully describe the energy Sukanya brings to a shoot, it’s something you just have to experience firsthand. She stays with you above and beyond the session - long after the camera is put away.

Being someone who shies away from the limelight and yet someone who sees the value in documenting memories, it has been rewarding for me to have Sukanya as that ‘friend with a camera’. She has a striking ability and a natural gift - for capturing emotions in the moment. She is one of those people who can light up a room and puts everyone at ease, whether she knows them or not.
There have been many a times when I was just being myself and she captured my facial expressions and emotions in their true authenticity.

All Adi and I wanted was to have some memories that felt like us and not uncomfortably posed. It's pretty tough to do that in front of a camera. But Sukanya made it very easy and comfortable, it didn't feel like somebody was setting us up to look good for a photo - it felt like someone was just taking a peek of what life already looked like. It was a lovely experience that my husband and I will always cherish. Would highly recommend her for photos that capture your essence and not just a templated pose!
