A good friend is a blessing, but a friend with a camera is a game-changer. Sukanya is one of those rare people whose energy makes anyone feel at home, whether you’ve known her for years or just met. Anyone in a 50-meter radius of her is familiar with the heartiness of Sukki's laughter.

Being someone who shies away from the limelight and yet someone who sees the value in documenting memories, it has been rewarding for me to have Sukanya as that close friend. From regular days to big milestone in life, the recent being my brother’s wedding, my most favorite pictures of our family (that made it into my social media platforms) were the ones etched by Sukanya. Her presence brought out the best in everyone. "A picture is worth a thousand words," they say. Well, while words can never capture its true depth, her signature style is what elevates a fleeting moment into an everlasting memory.

I’ve always had a strong affinity for her and her  craft.  She is diligent with every endeavour, deeply empathetic, always punctual and so intentional with her deliverables. To go with all her gifts, she had to be given the most radiant face and the gentlest of smiles, the kind of beauty when coupled with such an admirable personality, makes me eternally grateful to know her. We, the 'M' family, are so proud watching her create magic in the way she absolutely loves.

One of the best feelings in the world is to look at a photograph and wonder how it has perfectly captured that moment of your life!

This is probably the simplest way I can put into words what Sukanya did for my engagement and wedding photography.

As someone who is very nervous and uncomfortable when it comes to candid photography, I was apprehensive about my engagement and wedding photographs. But when I finally got to see them I was l awe struck by the sheer sincerity with which the photographs were clicked.

Sukanya has this magical ‘there but not there’ quality, she never asked me to pose, in fact I barely remember seeing her around the stage area. She has a natural ability to gauge people and moments, always silently watching through the camera and clicking it when you would least expect it and this is why her photography churns out such authentic and original shots. I am beyond happy I could have someone like her click me on my special day. As a bride there is enough pressure on you, but Sukanya just puts you at immediate ease and there is one less thing you need to be worried about. She is also most voted likely to dance, laugh and yawn right along with you. (Who does that?)

If you want someone who is both a passionate photographer and a deeply grounded friend with unfailing support, look no further. She is the one you'd want by your side to make lifelong memories with!

Sukanya went out of her way to make us comfortable during the photo shoot.

She was flexible, patient, and her perceptiveness is unmatched.

She took multiple shots and gave us some great family portraits.

I would definitely recommend her if you are looking for some mantlepiece photos of the whole family.

All Adi and I wanted was to have some memories that felt like us and not uncomfortably posed. It's pretty tough to do that in front of a camera.

But Sukanya made it very easy and comfortable, it didn't feel like somebody was setting us up to look good for a photo - it felt like someone was just taking a peek of what life already looked like.

It was a lovely experience that my husband and I will always cherish.

Would highly recommend her for photos that capture your essence and not just a templated pose.

As a fitness trainer, I am usually the one holding the container and supporting others. But with Sukanya, all those labels dissolved. There was this immediate quite safety, the kind you only feel with an old soul friend. She gave me the access I didn't know I needed: to just be, without having it all together. The shoot itself became a blur, secondary to the depth of our conversation. She listens with such undivided attention that really made being vulnerable feel light-hearted, even humorous, and through that I could open up and own my story. I walked into the session guarded and resistant to change, but left with my first full exhale in years.  Her sessions and somatic  techniques are a complete package. It was a total nervous system reset where our connection even brought back my restorative sleep. What surprised me is the shift that sustained. It's created a whole new rhythm that follows me into my classes, how I nourish myself and show up for others. I have now developed a newfound devotion and acceptance to life's unfolding, simply because Sukanya helped me taste that trust for myself.

Beyond this personal healing, her powerful visual artistry aligned me with my dream clients and opened doors I hadn't even knocked on yet. From being told overnight success compounds from consistency, to actually seeing it, I have no doubt it was this steady inner anchoring that changed everything for me.

I hadn’t allowed myself to be seen so clearly before, partly out of vanity, but mostly a lingering self-consciousness. Anyone can snap a photo, but Sukanya truly beholds you, capturing who you deeply are and not just your image with such genuine warmth that you can’t help but start looking at yourself through that same lens of love. Even three years later, these photographs remain a gift that keeps giving.

I wish everyone gets to experience this firsthand. I am truly honoured to be photographed by her. She is one of a kind and I can't recommend her enough.

Sukanya was in my baking school to document my class and students during the eve of Christmas and it was such an indescribable and surreal experience. An unassuming person herself, she not only catches the tiniest detail that often goes overlooked but also made our conversations over cold coffee and cookies so much more sweeter and meaningful. She wasn't just 'the photographer'— she baked with us and asked so many curious questions that we forgot the camera was even there.

We felt so included in the process and she even guided us on how to pause and document our own moments with awareness and tenderness. For me, that was a complete paradigm shift as I was used to racing through workshops and batches.  My girls and I felt totally at home in her presence. Her simplicity is very contagious and it really shines through in her final output. I am falling short of words to describe this treasured experience.

Beyond her professionalism, Sukanya carries a lightness of being and a genuine humanity that makes her an invaluable companion on any journey.

Nothing but gratitude to the universe for having connected at the right time.
