One of the best feelings in the world is to look at a photograph and wonder how it has perfectly captured that moment of your life! This is probably the simplest way I can put into words what Sukanya did for my engagement and wedding photography. As someone who is very nervous and uncomfortable when it comes to candid photography, I was apprehensive about my engagement and wedding photographs. But when I finally got to see them I was l awe struck by the sheer brilliance with which the photographs were clicked.
Sukanya never asked me to pose, in fact I don’t even remember seeing her around the stage area much. She was always lurking behind the camera and clicking it when you would least expect it and this is why her photography churns out such authentically candid shots. I am so happy I could have someone like her click me on my special day. As a bride there is enough pressure on you, but Sukanya just puts you at ease and there is one less thing you need to be worried about.
If you are looking for someone to not just click photographs, but also to create lifelong memories with then Sukanya is definitely the way to go.

Sukanya made me feel the most comfortable I have ever been in a photoshoot. I don't even remember the "shoot" as much as I remember the conversation. She really listened, and through that I was able to open up and be my realest self. She is charismatic, but what sets her apart is her keen ability to notice who's standing alone and gently bring them to lean in, which is what made the entire process so effortless. I've never felt more seen.
She truly is a gem I can't wait to meet again. And WHAT incredible headshots. She really can capture the depth of light. Both her eyes and her energy stay with you long after words fade.

They say, “It’s a blessing in life to have a good friend”. I would add that it is a blessing in life to have a good friend with a camera.
Being someone who shies away from the limelight and yet someone who sees the value in documenting memories, it has been rewarding for me to have Sukanya as that ‘friend with a camera’. Her striking quality is her skill and talent in capturing emotions in the moment.
There have been many a times when I was just being myself and she captured my facial expressions and emotions in their true authenticity.
When I look back on all the regular days as well as special occasions in life, the recent being my brother’s wedding, my favourite pictures of myself (that made it into my social media platforms) were the ones that Sukanya captured.
She captures people with her heart and it shows!
A photograph is indeed like a pause button in life, and she definitely makes many a moments become everlasting
memories.

Sukanya went out of her way to make us comfortable during the photo shoot.
She was flexible, patient, very attentive and took multiple shots and gave us some great family portraits.

All Adi and I wanted was to have some memories that felt like us and not uncomfortably posed. It's pretty tough to do that in front of a camera. But Sukanya made it very easy and comfortable, it didn't feel like somebody was setting us up to look good for a photo - it felt like someone was just taking a peek of what life already looked like. It was a lovely experience that my husband and I will always cherish. Would highly recommend her for photos that capture your essence and not just a templated pose!
